the king’s landing
The capital of the Seven Kingdoms proves awfully close to anyone who settles there Dragonstone. You can see the geography of the battle from black water bay as good as Earth, Brienne’s native island.
Andalos is on the west coast of Essos and was once the homeland of the Andals. To the north you can find the richest of Free Cities, well done. The other free cities on the map are Lorath, pentos, Norvor and Quhor.
On an offshoot of the royal road, you will find Winterfell, home to the Starks and the Guardian of the North. Continue north to reach Black Castle at The wall. To the west you will find bear island, home to House Mormont (Lyanna and Ser Jorah) and deep wood clod, which houses the Glover House. To the east is The fort of dread, the stronghold of Ramsay Bolton & Co as well as Karhold, home of the Karstarks.
One of the major trading cities of Essos is Qarth, located in the east of the continent.
Formerly known as Slave Bay, this was the area where the Daenarys freed slaves from their masters. The best known and most powerful city is Meereen to the north, famous for its pyramids and the former base of Miss Targaryen. A little further south is Yunkai, the chief export of which are bed-slaves and the most southerly is Astapor, where Dany freed and acquired the Unsullied.
The first of the Free Cities is located on the south coast of Essos where Rhoyne Meet the summer sea. Founded by the Valyrian Freehold.
The Iron Islands
The Greyjoys’ home is the Iron Islands, with Pike being the name of the main island as well as Castle Greyjoys. To the east you can find Twins and river run.
To go to The Eyrie and see the moon gate, you have to go through the bloody door. Famous home of House Arryn. Another famous place is Harrenhal, the largest castle in Westeros. This is, for example, where Arya, Gendry and Hot Pie were taken prisoner. Here again you can find Twins, which is home to House Frey and the Red Wedding.
In the southernmost part of Westeros is Dorne, the realm that is home to the Dornish. On the east side you will find Sunspear, which houses the Martell house. To the west is Blackmont, a holdfast and the home of the Blackmont house. You can also spot Highgarden, home of House Tyrell and capital of the scope.
The ancestral stronghold of House Lannister is Rock Casterly. A major gold mine lies just below and provides the Lannisters with their wealth. The main town in the region is Lannisport. Nearby is Clegane Dungeon, and you guessed it, house of House Clegane.
